I would like to come pick up my cake. How do I transport it home safely?
Transporting a cake is risky business, which is why we recommend delivery. In the event that you would like to pick up your order instead, here are a few tips:

The safest place for the cake to sit is the passenger floor if you are transporting alone. Bonus if you can have someone ride along to hold it steady for you!

Yes! We offer sheet cakes in all of our flavors to accommodate any guest count! Check out our cake sizes to find the perfect size for you.
Do you offer gluten and dairy free options?
While MI Great Lakes Cakes is not an allergen free bakery, we do offer both gluten free and dairy free options. Please let us know if you have any known allergy or dietary preference!
I have a very specific cake in mind. Are custom cakes an option?
Yes! Custom ideas and designs are always a favorite. While traditional wedding cakes are beautiful, we also love to think outside the box to craft the perfect cake straight out of your dreams. We can work together to sketch a custom design that will leave your guests in awe!

Yes! We deliver all over the state of Michigan. Delivery fees are based on the amount of miles we will be transporting to your venue. Get in touch for exact delivery rates.

In the current state of our world, we have decided to make tastings both safe and comfortable for EVERYONE. We currently offer tasting “boxes” that you can pick up contact-free and enjoy in the comfort of your own home (or anywhere!).
